Club legend parts company, as The Ghosts wish ‘Jarvo’ all the best.

The committee of Fakenham Town Football Club would like to place on record their sincere thanks to Neil Jarvis, who has stepped down as manager of our Under 18’s.

“Jarvo’s” involvement with the club, as many people will know goes back decades – showing incredible dedication to the cause which is so very rare in this day and age.

Over that time, Neil represented the club as a (Norfolk Senior Cup winning) player, Coach, Assistant Manager, Caretaker Manager and Manager. And that’s just for starters with the first team set-up.

As Manager of our Under 18’s, he’s overseen the nurturing, and subsequent breakthrough to the First Team of a number of the current squad – and again, that doesn’t begin to touch the surface of the many years of service, and the players that have played under his guidance.

Jarvo finished the season in charge of the side in the Norfolk Senior Cup Final at Carrow Road, after stepping in to (not for the first time) take the reins and hold the fort. For which we are still extremely grateful.

Once again, thank you Neil for everything over the years, from all at Clipbush Park. We wish you the very best for the future, wherever it may be.
